Emerging Lions Leadership Institute (ELLI) seminar on 12-14th March 2016 at Delhi

Emerging Lions Leadership Institute focuses on building the skills of Lions members for leadership opportunities at the club level, including the position of club president.

Lions Candidates in good standing, who have successfully served on a club committee and who have not yet attained the level of club president are eligible to apply for the Emerging Lions Institute. Charter Club Presidents are also eligible for this institute.

All participating candidates must be willing to commit to all days of the institute. As the number applications received are high, acceptance into the institute is not guaranteed. Emerging Lions Leadership Institute (ELLI) seminar will be held in Delhi in March (12-14 March, 2016) for Constitutional Area VI: India, South Asia and the Middle East.

Expectations of ELLI graduates:

  1. » Pursue additional leadership roles and responsibilities in their respective clubs.
  2. » Serve as a leadership resource in their respective clubs.
  3. » Share their institute experiences with members of their club and encourage other qualified Lions to apply to the institutes.

Lions Clubs International will provide meals and lodging, and a non-refundable participation fee of US$125.00 will be required to offset these costs for the institute. This fee will be due no less than six weeks prior to the institute start date. Please do not send funds until you receive a letter of acceptance to the institute. Participants are also responsible to pay for their own transportation and related travel expenses to and from the institute site.
