HCL Foundation partners with Southern India Lions Quest Foundation to provide education for 50,000 girl students
HCL Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility Trust of HCL Technologies, one of the leading technology companies in India, partners with Southern India Lions Quest Foundation (SILQF), to fund Rs. One Crore towards the implementation of Lions Quest, by reaching 50,000 girl students over the next three years.
Under the partnership, HCL Foundation and SILQF will come together to implement Lions Quest Programs in Gurukuls run by the HCL Foundation and also in schools identified by Lions Clubs across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and NCR region. Through the project Jhansi – Rise like the Sun through Lions Quest , HCL Foundation will assist with printing books and training teachers to implement the program.
According to Lion Krishna Reddy V V, Past International Director and Chairman, Southern India Multiple Districts Lions Quest Foundation (SILQF), “HCL Foundation is the first corporate to come forward to partner with Lions to reach youth through life skills programs. This breakthrough partnership between HCL Foundation and SILQF will help serve more youth, effectively”.
