Established in 1964, this 204 member strong club enjoys 51 years of service to mankind. Over half the century, the club has been busy with several signature projects like AnaajDaan - collection and distribution of food grain to the needy in the community. Education programs - special coaching for the under privileged and scholarships for higher education, SightFirst - free eye check-up and cataract surgery camps, Diabetes detection and awareness and medical checkup camps to name a few.
Additionally, the club has supported thousands of needy students by providing uniforms, vocational guidance and training for higher secondary students through their signature 'Earn & Learn' program
Besides this the Lions have undertaken special projects like:
1. Installation of solar power at Adivasi School at Mann village in Vikramgadh.
2. Renovation of Boys & Girls hostel at Adivasi School at Mann that has resulted in the improved the living conditions ofover 550 Adivasi boys and girls.
3. Learn & Earn programthat has impacted the lives of thousands of students.
Lions have also established a medical dispensary that provides medical assistance at a nominal cost of Rs. 10/-. Additionally, the club also runs a dental clinic where treatment is provided at 60% of the market value.
The LEO club under the guidance of Lions Club of Bombay Mulund, have carried out major two emergency projects, namely relief work during Jammu and Kashmir floods and during the recent Earthquake in Nepal.
